Bok Choy with Tamari & Sesame Oil
In this recipe you can use Bok Choy or an assortment of Chinese greens – whatever you like or is available fresh at the market. Tamari is a naturally brewed form of soya sauce that does not contain wheat and toasted sesame oil is delicious! Cook it all up and serve immediately.
Ingredients:
3 bunches Chinese greens
1+1/2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons tamari sauce
Method:
- Trim stems from greens if necessary.
- Tear into manageable pieces.
- Heat a wok until hot and add oil, swirl around wok.
- Add greens and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until wilted a little.
- Add tamari and toasted sesame oil and continue to stir-fry for a few seconds, until greens are cooked but still a little crisp, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
